Vision

It was established as a privately owned company based in Thessaloniki and began to develop its business activities
in remote areas, as well as on Mount Athos, building power generation systems based on renewable
energy sources.

Construction of an innovative lighting system in a park in Alexandroupolis, Crete, in collaboration with, among others, the Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia in Kozani, the IEK
Omiros, the University of Munich, and the Academy of Dillingen, ECO//SUN participates in the educational program
“Leonardo da Vinci” and creates the curriculum for the profession of Solar Technician.es.

ECO//SUN becomes a co-founder of the Greek Photovoltaic Association, an association of manufacturers that
contributes to the creation and development of a healthy and sustainable market that promotes photovoltaic energy systems.

It is installing a photovoltaic system at Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos.” At the same time, a project is being implemented as part of the Olympic Games at the German School of Athens, where German journalists covering the Games are staying.

Participation in the research program “SYNERGY 2011” on the topic of “Smart and Energy-Autonomous
Greenhouse” in the “Brite Greenhouse” project and acquisition of 2,000 sq.m. of building facilities housing industrial
production, technical services, and warehouses for spare parts and finished products.

Member of the European Recycling Association PV CYCLE.
Participation in a project to develop a hybrid photovoltaic park and wind turbines in the Sahara desert,
near Alexandria, Egypt. The project played an important role in the development of flora in the area.

Expansion of the ECO//SUN product range with the integration of batteries and converters
Collaboration with LEROY MERLIN, a French company serving several countries in Europe, Russia,
Asia, South America, and Africa. Selected by Greenpeace as a supplier for its campaign for families in need on the island of Rhodes.

With more than 20 years of presence, ECO//SUN has created a wide network of partners throughout Greece,
sharing its experience and offering the highest level of service. Collaboration with Diathermiki, a network of 150
stores throughout Greece, specializing in the energy sector.

The company is expanding its activities in the electric vehicle market through ecocar.
The ecocar City, City Van, and City PickUp were launched in September 2017 as the first passenger and commercial electric city cars in the Balkans.

Start of production and planning of batteries for ecocar electric vehicles,
using Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology, with significant benefits including increased autonomy, longer battery life, and overall increased vehicle performance.

Development of export fronts in European countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Norway, and Sweden.

Launch of a new strategic partnership between ECO//SUN and RENAC Power.
Manufacture of new ECO//SUN Hybrid Inverters. Addition of new 100% electric advanced models, ecocar POCCO and ecocar G300.

Operation of new, state-of-the-art facilities and a vertically integrated ecocar electric vehicle showroom and repair shop in the Thessaloniki airport area.
